The waiting list has been sorted alphabetically by LAST name. Even though your name is listed first does not mean you will be housed first. To verify you are on the Public Housing waiting list click here.  We do not offer emergency housing. If you are in need of emergency housing please contact local social services by following this link.

The online waiting list will be updated on the last day of each month. All eligible applications are entered into the computer on a daily basis. If you apply at the end of the month your name may not appear on the waiting list until the following month. Once you have been entered on the waiting list you will be notified via the US Postal service of your status and an estimated time of placement on the waiting list.

The waiting list is generated based on preferences. The total number of points for each family will determine the placement of the family on the public housing waiting list. Someone with higher preferences will be housed sooner than someone with fewer preferences. All preferences will be verified during the application process. If a preference cannot be verified the applicant will be put back on the waiting list with the lower preference point.

While the family is on the waiting list, the family must inform the PHA, within 10 business days, of changes in family size or composition, preference status, or contact information, including current residence, mailing address, and phone number. The changes must be submitted in writing.

Changes in an applicant's circumstances while on the waiting list may affect the family's qualification for a particular bedroom size or entitlement to a preference. When an applicant reports a change that affects their placement on the waiting list, the waiting list will be updated accordingly.
